Erik Adams Joins Coaching Staff

The McKinney Warriors are pleased to announce that Erik Adams has joined the coaching staff responsible for recruiting and player development. Adams, joins the Warriors after coaching with the Dallas Stars 18U Tier I squad in the Tier I Elite League last season.

Adams a 6'0" Defenseman played for Thunder Bay in the USHL before moving to the WCHA where he played for the University of Denver from 1998-2002. While at Denver, Erik was an Academic Honoree in the WCHA and helped the Pioneers to two Playoff titles (1998 and 2002) and a regular season championship in 2002.

Erik turned pro in 2002 and played one season in the ECHL. He played the next eight seasons in the Central League with New Mexico, Colorado and the Allen Americans. Adams retired in 2011 and moved to the front office of the Allen Americans responsible for game day operations and player personnel. He has two CHL championships; one with Colorado in 2007 and last season with the Americans.
