After the Eugene Generals beat the West Sound Warriors last night, 10 – 2, both teams took to the ice tonight for the final game of the series. Offensively, there wasn’t much action in the first half of the period. With seven minutes and 55 seconds left in the first period, the Generals were able to break the game’s offensive silence.

Less than 50 seconds later, the Generals were able to score the team’s second goal of the night when Jack Geisler scored. After jumping out to a quick 2 – 0 lead, the Warriors were able to put a dent into this deficit after an unassisted goal from Caleb Bromley.

Once the second period started, the Generals were able to come out and extend the team’s lead over the Warriors. Within the first minute and 10 seconds of the period, Generals forward, Cole Bloemer, scored. This began the three-goal period for the Generals. Following this goal, Arbelovsky was able to score two back-to-back goals within 20 seconds of each other.

With about five minutes left on the clock, the Warriors were able to capitalize on a power play opportunity. Garrett Little scored his first goal of the evening on this play. Once the final horn sounded for the second period, the Generals hit the locker room with the 5 – 2 lead over the Warriors.

To open up the third period of play, the Generals were able to score first. Dale snuck one past McCain for his second goal of the night. As play continued, the Generals were also able to capitalize on a power play opportunity. This extended the team’s score to, 7 – 2. Shortly after this, Dustin Gomez scored the final goal of the game. This goal pushed the Generals to an 8 – 2 victory over the Warriors.
