Generals fall behind 0-2 in playoff series
BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Eugene Generals will return home this weekend needing to win to stay alive in the Northern Pacific Hockey League playoffs.
The Generals fell behind 2-0 in their best-of-5 playoff series against the Blazers after losing 4-1 in the second game on Sunday.
Justin Sullivan scored two goals for Bellingham, which pulled away after the Generals tied the score on a goal by Christian Dale with 4:09 left in the first period.
The series returns to the Rink Exchange at 7:30 p.m. Friday, with a Game 4 scheduled for Saturday if necessary.
