Generals finally see season come to a close
BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Eugene Generals had their Northern Pacific Hockey League playoff run come to an end Sunday night in Washington.
Bellingham defeated the Generals 4-2 in the fifth and final game in the first round to finally put away pesky Eugene, which came back from a 2-0 deficit to force the deciding matchup.
Eugene cut the Blazers’ lead to 3-2 in the third period, but they were able to hang on.
