BILLET FAMILIES

What we look for in a billet family?

-Clean, smoke-free welcoming home

-Private room with a bed, good mattress and a desk/workspace for homework

-Proximity to the Pickering Recreation Complex, and one of Pickering High Schools(If applicable)

- Support of team rule enforcement including curfew, community engagement, academic standards etc.

Your responsibilities

– Dresser & Closet Space

– Suitable private area with good light & desk space for studying / homework

– A player may share a room with another player, but NOT with another member of the billet family

– Providing towels, shower supplies (Personal items such as shampoo, toothpaste, and other toiletries are the responsibility of the player)

– Personal laundry is to be done by the player

– Dry Cleaning is the player’s responsibility

– High-speed internet

– Nutritional healthy meals

– Parking space should be provided for a player with his own vehicle (note: very few players have vehicles)

- Transportation to high school(if applicable ) ,ride to the rink (Very rare as players carpool)
