Logan grew up in South Central Pennsylvania and began playing competitive hockey in the DVHL with the Capital City Vipers. Wanting to take his abilities to the next level, Logan joined the York Devils 18AA team, becoming a captain and leading his team to a berth at the USAH National Championships. Upon finishing youth hockey, Logan came to Penn State Berks, where he was a three-year starter and the club president.

In 2018, Logan graduated and decided he wanted to give back to the sport he loved. He became an assistant coach for the Lancaster Firebirds U12 AA, coaching alongside his former Head Coach, Sandy Cohen. He also helped with individual lessons for both goalies and skaters. Three years later, Logan has returned to his alma mater, and cannot wait to begin rebuilding the organization.
