Scott Dwyer went 2-3 as the Nevada Big Horns (9-15) took home a 6-2 victory over the Atwater Aviators (12-12) in seven innings at Golden Eagle Park on Monday.
He singled in the first and fourth innings.Zachary Muenster kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Atwater Aviators batters. Muenster allowed no earned runs on six hits and no walks over seven innings.
Liam Rihella racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Atwater Aviators. He homered in the fifth inning.
Sean Cubley (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out one.
