Gilbert helps the Lake Norman Copperheads down the Team Charlotte 7-3
The Lake Norman Copperheads (12-22) beat the Team Charlotte (7-30) 7-3 in seven innings on Wednesday at Hough High School behind Eric Gilbert, who went 2-4.
He singled in the third and fifth innings.The Team Charlotte couldn't get anything going as long as Devin Bagwell was pitching. The Team Charlotte managed just two hits off of Bagwell, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.
Tristan MARSHALL (0-2) took the loss for the Team Charlotte. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
