Great game from the Concord Weavers' Dunlavey not enough in 4-2 loss to the SBA Bones

David Dunlavey did his part on the bump, but it wasn't enough to carry the Concord Weavers (11-26) to a win on Wednesday, as the Concord Weavers fell to the SBA Bones (26-12) 4-2 at Concord HS.

Dunlavey handled the SBA Bones' lineup with ease, racking up 12 strikeouts. The Concord Weavers' pitcher gave up just three hits over seven shutout innings.

Isaac Rodgers brought the heat against the Concord Weavers during his outing. The Concord Weavers managed just two hits off of the the SBA Bones' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out two during his six innings of work.

Zachary Hodgkiss improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the SBA Bones. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Dunlavey ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
