The Piedmont Pride (33-8) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, on the way to an 18-1 landslide win over the Team Charlotte (8-34) at Winthrop University.

The Piedmont Pride scored six runs in the third on the Piedmont Pride scored in the third on an RBI single by Bailey Montoya, a home run by Sam Sustersic, and an RBI single by Justin Sparks.

Mike Morgan racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Piedmont Pride. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jason Goe's six strikeouts were enough to push the Piedmont Pride past the Team Charlotte. Goe allowed one earned run on six hits and one walk over six innings.

Xander Maddox was hot from the plate for the Team Charlotte. Maddox went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Darrell Render (0-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
