The Pirates continue to build up momentum, surely opening eyes around the league.

Seton Hall traveled back to Princeton on Friday night, looking to build upon a dominant performance the week prior. The Pirates got off to another quick start, with rookie defenseman Cam Adamec scoring his first career goal just four minutes into the game. Junior Nick Serapiglia added to the lead in the second, putting the Pirates up 2-0 through a period and a half. Princeton would answer with a goal of their own, but the Pirates would answer back just three minutes later via senior defenseman Nick Mangano's laser beam from the point. The Pirates extended their lead to three goals after Michael Volpi connected with Tyler Fearon on a slick back door pass. However, Princeton battled back with two goals just thirty seconds apart. The Pirates called a timeout with their lead cut to one, trying to regroup and get back to their style of hockey. After the two quick goals against, senior goaltender Adam Spitz bounced back strong, making a plethora of crucial saves late in the period and giving the Pirates the momentum they needed to net one more goal and secure the victory. With a 5-3 final score, Spitz earned his first win of the season.

Less than 24 hours later, Seton Hall returned to their precious home at Codey Arena to take on the West Chester Rams in the Pirates' home opener. Behind a great home crowd, and after two chippy, hard-fought periods, the Pirates found themselves up 2-0. Forwards Tyler Fearon and Thomas Healy both found the back of the net to give Seton Hall the two-goal lead. The Pirates kept their foot on the gas, scoring three more in the third thanks to John Anselmo, Nick Serapiglia, and Cam Adamec. And after yet another shutout from senior goaltender John McCarthy, the Pirates stayed in the win column, defeating West Chester 5-0. The shutout was McCarthy's second in a row. Mac has now gone 120 consecutive minutes without giving up a goal.

Behind those two huge victories, Seton Hall improves to 3-0. Not only have the Pirates won every game so far, but they have also never trailed in a single game this season. The Pirates will look to add to their impressive winning streak this Friday, when they travel to Atlantic City to take on the Stockton Ospreys.
