Senior Spotlight: #10 Lane Markel
Lane is the son of Joel and Stephanie Markel, and he is from Morganville, New Jersey. He will graduate in the spring with a RBA, and after graduation he wants to focus his attention on educating others.
Although Markel joined the team merely a few weeks before the end of the season, he is still a crucial member, providing much needed relief for the short line of defensemen. He has played hockey for seven years and he plans to use his knowledge gained from his time on the ice to coach games in the future.
