Phil Sears is 24 years old and is a native of Speedway, IN. He graduated from University of Indianapolis in May 2016 with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration minor. Phil has been grateful to have worked for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Lucas Oil Stadium/Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis Tornados, University of Indianapolis Ticket Office, Special Olympics Indiana, Indianapolis Indians, Reno Aces, and most recently IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions.
Growing up in the shadow of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Phil has always had a passion and love for sports and as he got older dreamed of working for a professional sports organization. He is excited to be able to continue to live out that dream with the Thunderbolts and is excited to help grow the sport of hockey and the Thunderbolts brand across southern Indiana and the tri-state area.
Phil enjoys cheering on his favorite teams: the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, and the Purdue Boilermakers. In his free time, Phil likes to play pick-up basketball games, hang out with his friends and family, work out, play video games, and exploring new places.
