Nick Paul (2011-2012)

The 6’3” 200 pound forward for the North Bay Battalion got his start in Junior hockey while playing as an AP for the Mississauga Chargers. After a solid minor midget season with the Mississauga Senators (14G 25P in 37GP) the Mississauga native went undrafted in his OHL draft year and would settle in for a Midget season with the Mississauga Reps. With the reps he rounded out his game while utilizing his size without putting a lot of focus on his final statistics. Paul had 14 goals and 22 points for the Reps in 38 games while being named MVP of the GTHL All-Star Game en route to being drafted by the Brampton Battalion in the 5th round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection Draft

With the Chargers Paul was a force on the ice and it didn’t take long to notice him moving the puck or hitting his opponent hard into the boards. In 9 regular season games for the Chargers he notched 3 goals and 5 points along with 4 penalty minutes. The combination of Midget hockey and playing some Junior hockey catapulted him into his first OHL season where he was a standout on the Battalion roster. Paul scored 12 and had 28 points in 66 games. His play in his rookie season landed him a spot on Central Scouting’s final rankings where he was selected by the Dallas Stars in the 4th round, 101st overall.

Nick Paul will be entering his 3rd OHL season before embarking on his professional career in the Ottawa Senators organization. His rights were traded as part of the Jason Spezza trade in July 2014

Nick Tetley (2011-2014)

Nick Tetley played three full seasons with the Mississauga Chargers coming off of a successful Midget season back in 2010/11. Nick was never a player that excelled in hockey until he began training at ATC, a facility in Mississauga that trains elite athletes through minor hockey, junior, college and at the professional levels. After a summer in ATC Nick made the jump to the OJHL and the Mississauga Chargers. In his three seasons in Chargers colours, Tetley scored 7 goals and posted 43 points in 142 OJHL regular season contests. Last season Nick had an A on his jersey and helped lead the team to it’s first playoff birth in 7 seasons, even though the Chargers fell in 6 games in the first round the season was still deemed a big success.

Nick added to the season’s success by committing to Wilfred Laurier University to play hockey for the Golden Hawks. The defenceman is in his freshman year studying psychology.

Andrew Willock (2001-2006)

The 6 foot forward from Mississauga played 5 seasons with the Chargers in the OPJHL. In 185 regular season games Willock scored 60 and had 175 points over that time. The forward also had 553 penalty minutes, reaching 152 minutes in the 2002/03 season.

As Willock grew up, so did his level of play and contribution to the Chargers. His growth as a player and a person earned him a scholarship to State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh. Over the 4 years spent at Plattsburgh, the Cardinals were 82-21-12 and were national finalists in the 2007/08 season.

After finishing up his college career Willock moved on to professional hockey playing in the FHL, SPHL and ECHL. Most of his four professional seasons have been in the FHL with the Danbury Whalers. In his rookie, professional season he scored 19 and had 38 points in 38 games. In 111 FHL games he has 38 goals and 111 points with 368 Penalty Minutes.
