A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Broadcast Journalism, Carmine now embarks on his third season as the "Voice of the Bobcats" and PR Director.

He has taken on various positions such as providing play by play and color commentary for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League, voice-over roles for the NHL, and was an Executive of Broadcasting & Media Relations for the Brooklyn Aviators of the Federal Hockey League.  Carmine won the FHL's 2010-11 "Broadcaster of the Year" award, and the 2012-13 "Executive of the Year" award.

Additionally, Carmine was a two-year Junior player in the MET and the then-AJHL before competing at the collegiate level for Southern New Hampshire University and later Central Connecticut State University. 

The combination of Carmine’s experience with several roles within the sport of hockey and the knowledge and growth of his skills in broadcasting, media/public relations, web design, etc. makes him a great addition to our team staff.

Jerry Sopp
PA Announcer

Jerry is from Woodbridge, NJ and is enjoying his 6th year as a public address announcer.  He got his start working the mic for the Woodbridge Wolfpack Squirt B team. From there, five of the local area high school hockey clubs have hired his voice and was also picked up by the Rutgers University Ice Knights ACHA D1 hockey club during the 2013-14 season.

A cancer survivor who fights every day, Jerry is enjoying his 1st season as the PA announcer of the Bobcats and loving every minute of it!
