About the South Bay Storm:
The Storm’s mission is to provide an environment where each team member is accountable to his teammates for his development and personal growth as an individual and as a baseball player. We strive to teach the game of baseball, to help each achieve their full potential in life, and to learn the keys to winning: hard work, dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship. We value respect for our teammates, our coaches, our families, and the great game of baseball. We will always "pay the price" for success, practice hard, compete hard, and win or lose - we will always do our best.

We exist to advance professional baseball prospects towards their futures in professional baseball, while providing them the structure and guidance to return to their respective colleges - if they don't sign their contracts -- as better students, better citizens and as better players.
Though the team is in only its fourth season, they are run with plenty of experience. Team owners Marc Cavilgia & Richard Ruiz joined up to create an elite summer team in the South Bay, their combined contacts and experience allowed the program to flourish rapidly with minimal hiccups. Marc Cavilgia has operated the San Francisco Seagulls for 12 years and Richard Ruiz has operated the Atwater Aviators for the past 8 years. Both teams are considered among California's top summer programs. They will bring the same professionalism and organization to the South Bay Storm
About the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League (GSCBL):
The Golden State Collegiate Baseball League is an interstate summer collegiate wood bat baseball league, existing to enhance the summer baseball experience for each community, team and baseball player within the league. We play highly competitive summer wood-bat baseball, providing top collegiate players with an outstanding opportunity to hone individual skills while offering hometown fans a great live summer baseball spectator experience. The competition takes place at top-quality interstate baseball venues operated at the highest standards of team and league management. We treat each league member with dignity and respect and all aspects of the league are accomplished through the involved consent of each participating team. It is a resource to member teams and their communities. Through the high level of administration off of the field and excellent competition on field, the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League gives players excellent play, recognition and visibility within the regional, national and international baseball community.
