Art Tuveson Leadership Award

Retired in 2016, the former Assistant Athletic Director for Facility Management and Planning, Art Tuveson has been a driving force on behalf of the Men's Hockey Team since 1981.  No stranger to watching a young program grow successful, as a undergrad he instrumental in starting up the UNH Women's Hockey Club program.  Coincidental with his graduation in 1976, his hard work helped the Woman's team being granted varsity status.  Since graduating from the University of Oreagon with a Masters in Rec and Athletic Administration, he has worked relentlessly on behalf of the URI Hockey Program.  In appreciation for such efforts, the Men's Hockey team recognizes those team members who have shown such "leadership" over the course of a season with an award in his honor.
