The LancerLot Sports Complex opened in 1985 and Virginia Tech Men's Ice Hockey played there for 9 years until the big snow storm of '93 that took the roof of the ice rink. Fast forward 24 years later, the LancerLot Sports Complex in partnership with Penalty Box Partners, LLC. decided the LancerLot needed it's ice rink back-- and the $2 million dollar project went underway. Now, Virginia Tech Ice Hockey is proud to return to the LancerLot Ice Rink this year-- where it all started back in 1985.
Dressing Rooms:
Virginia Tech Ice Hockey has their own locker rooms within the LancerLot, equipped with stalls and storage space to keep equipment in.
