EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville Thunderbolts have signed Goaltender Dalton McGrath for the 2016 - 2017 season.  The Brampton, Ontario native — who is entering his second year in the SPHL —  previously played for the Mississippi RiverKings and the Peoria Rivermen.

“Dalton is a solid goalie, moves well and is good with the puck,” said Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Pyle. “He’s ready to be a number one goalie. Great kid!”

Last year the 6-foot, 185-pound goalie had 53 saves in three games with a goals against average of 2.88.  Prior, McGrath played for two years at Brock University, where he racked up 1,183 saves in 39 games. Before joining the SPHL, McGrath spent a season with the ECHL’s Brampton Beast.
