The 2024 season has flown by! It was another great summer of baseball back at "the Shipyard", with many fans and business partners back in the stands to watch the team in action.
The team finished second in the Coastal Division of the NECBL, with a 23-20 record and a league leading 11th consecutive summer in the playoffs - something we are proud of!
One of the highlights of the summer was our first livestream broadcast on ESPN+. Our July 4th game vs. the Ocean State Waves was shown around the world! Next year, we expect to have all home games streaming on ESPN+. We have come a long way since 2011.
We, once again, thank our many host families for being the core of our summer. Without their kindness, there wouldn't be a Schooners team. Thank you to the many new families who came aboard this year and experienced the happy times with our guys - something that our longtime hosts have known for years!
Our 2024 season host families:
Amy and Dan Baker (year 13)
Jan Trowbridge (year 2)
Pam and Dan Kelley (year 13)
Candice Hanes (year 3)
Laura Mello (year 2)
Joe Girard (year 2)
The Stergio Family (year 1)
The Sheriff Family (year 1)
The Kreckler Family (year 1)

Thank you for the care and support you give each summer to a bunch of college students who are living away from home. You made the Schooners feel at home away from home.
