CROMWELL, Conn. – Jordan Severo made 35 saves and three New York Bobcats recorded two points in the club’s, 6-3, win over the Harford Wolfpack on Wednesday afternoon at the Cromwell Champions Skating Center.

Corey Kennedy registered two assists, while Tyler Peters and Ian Harris each had a goal and a helper.

Trailing, 2-0, in the second period, the Bobcats erupted with two goals to tie the game.  Halfway thru the frame, Vinny DaBrowa buried the pass from Peters for his first of the season.  Shortly after, it was Harris tying the game on his second of the campaign.

Hartford took the lead in the third, just 36-seconds in, however, New York scored four unanswered to take over the game.

Charles Barber netted the equalizer, which was then followed by Thomas Dunn’s first tally of the season, and Peter’s unanswered marker.

Lucas Brown sealed the victory for the Bobcats with his short-handed tally, which is also his third goal in two games, with less than three minutes left to play.

Severo gets his second win of the year after his strong performance in net, while Wolfpack goalie Ben Zienty is charged with the loss despite making 34 saves.

With the win, the Bobcats move to 3-1-0-1 on the season and move into second place in the Central Division with seven points.

New York returns home on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, to take on the New England Wolves at 8:00 pm and the East Coast Wizards at 11:15 am, respectively.  Both games will be at the Twin Rinks at Eisenhower Park, the new home for your New York Bobcats, and also streamed live via FastHockey.com
