Thomas Greiss and Brittney Palmer are the newest members of the Pittsburgh Penguins Family.  Thomas, a German native and two time Olympian, is an avid cyclist who loves the outdoors. He has traveled the world mountain biking.  Brittney enjoys the equestrian sport and pageantry.  She holds the 2014 title of Miss South Dakota USA and represented her state at the Miss USA Pageant this past June. They both enjoy volunteerism and are active in community service. Each season they have promised each other to devote time to “giving back.” To Thomas and Brittney, being an NHL player and beauty queen are jobs to be taken seriously both on and off the public stage. To kick off a season of volunteerism, Thomas will be joining the Steel City Icebergs on the ice during the first official practice of the season on September 12, 2014 from 6:00-6:50 p.m. at RMU Island Sports Center 7600 Grand Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15225.
