Harris helps the South Bay Storm down the Sacramento Heat 11-7
Latrell Harris had two extra base hits, sparking the South Bay Storm (16-8) to an 11-7 victory over the Sacramento Heat (6-15) on Wednesday at University of Pacific.
He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.Michael Shoenberger went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Sacramento Heat. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the fourth, fifth, and ninth innings.
Nick Ultsch got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Chris Sardo (2-3) took the loss for the Sacramento Heat. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
The South Bay Storm were sparked by Dylan Yamasaki and Zane Gelphman, who teamed up for eight hits and six RBIs.
