Macomb Amateur Baseball Federation will formerly open the Tryout and the Team Needs Players sections of the web site on July 15 each year.  Tryouts posted must have a date of July 29th or later and be specific to that one tryout.  Each additional tryout must be posted separately.  

Any Postings of tryouts that will occur before July 29th will be deleted.

This is not a change in procedure but more of a back to basics approach.   The contract does state that a Team’s commitment (TC) reads:  TC begins as of the date of this signing and, unless ended earlier, continues until the team ceases regular competition, or August 1st, whichever occurs first.  Regular competition includes not only scheduled league games but also practices, scrimmage games and competition in tournaments before, during and after the league schedule.

To maintain the integrity of the Teams Roster for their season completion and post season or late tournament competition MABF found it necessary to act on behalf of the dismantling of teams prior to final competition.
