2009 Fall Classic – 35+ Wood Bat American Division – Florida
The Mid South Blues competed in the Fall Classic in Florida in November 2009. Local players on the Blues were Troy Secrist, Jerry Knauss, Charles Worthington and Glenn Mayfield. The Blues finished pool play with a 3-1 record and advanced to the semi final game where they lost to the tournament champ Greenville Yellowjackets 4-2. The Blues overall record in the tournament was 4-2.
2009 Fall Classic – 45+ Wood Bat American Division – Florida
Eddie Byrd and Kevin Olds played on the Atlanta Red Sox team that won the 45+ Wood Bat American Division at the Fall Classic in Florida in November of 2009. The Red Sox finished the tournament with a perfect 7-0 record on their way to the championship.
Antonio Jones of the Memphis Warriors played for the Chicago Blues in the 45+ Wood Bat American Division at the Fall Classic in Florida in November of 2009. The Chicago Blues finished pool play with a 2-2 record.
Kevin Olds - 2009 50+ Wood Bat - World Series
2009 World Series – 50+ Wood Bat American Division – Phoenix
Kevin Olds played for the St. Louis Gameface in the 2009 World Series in Phoenix in October 2009. The Gameface finished pool play with a 4-2 record to advance to the championship game. In the championship game Kevin had 7 RBI's en route to a 16-4 championship win for the Gameface. The Gameface's overall record was 5-2.
Mid South Pirates - 2009 Rocket City Classic 45+ Wood Bat
2009 Rocket City Classic – 45+ Wood Bat – Huntsville Alabama
The Mid South Pirates competed in the Rocket City Classic during the Labor Day weekend 2009 and went through pool play with a 3-1 record including a 3-1 win over the evential champion Bandits. The Pirates missed out on a chance to play in the championship game after being tied for first with two other teams after pool play. The Pirates were eliminated by the 3rd tie breaker. Local players were Glenn Mayfield, Kent Hardin, Bob Mobley, Mike Stephenson, Bart Sparks, Paul Tingley, Scott Walker, Troy Secrist and David Emerling.
Stl Bandits - 2009 Rocket City Classic 45+ Wood Bat
The St. Louis Bandits won the Rocket City Classic with an overall record of 4-1 after tying with 2 other teams at 3-1 during pool play. The Bandits advanced to the championship game via a tie breaker and defeated the Tennessee Dirtbags 3-2 in the championship game. Local players on the Bandits were Murphy Appling, Antonio Jones, Howard Edwards, Marvell Mckinney, Charles Grove, Ray Idzior and Kevin Olds.

2009 Bama Bash – 35+ Wood Bat – Birmingham Alabama
The Mid South Blues competed in the Bama Bash in May 2009 and made it to the championship game with a 4-0 record. The Championship game was rained out so they were crowned co-champions. The Blues were the 2007 and 2008 defending champions.
Memphis Mustangs - 2009 Bama Bash
2009 Bama Bash – 25+ – Birmingham Alabama
The Memphis Mustangs made their first trip to the Bama Bash in May 2009. The Mustangs finished the tournament with an 0-3 record.
2009 Billy Townsend Memorial Day Tournament – 45+ – Atlanta Georgia
The Mid South Warrior competed in the Atlanta Memorial Day tournament making it to the semi finals. They had victories over the Savannah Triad (12-5), Atlanta All-stars (11-1) and Middle Georgia (15-7). They took their 3-0 record into the semi final game against Southern Maryland where they were defeated (10-7).
