Every year our Minor Hockey Associations are looking to add new officials.

There are a limited amount of spots open for new officials, so apply now!
Once approved, you will be notified by HNO and the following steps will occur:
- You will need to review HNO's Concussion Code of Conduct and the required Concussion Resources by the Ontario Government, then submit a signed HNO Rowan's Law Acknowledgement form.
- If you are 18 years of age or older, you will need to have a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening complete with your local police, once you have the results please share them with HNO by email at records@hockeyhno.com
- You will need to complete the online course called Respect in Sport Activity Leader.
- Once you have complete Respect in Sport Activity Leader, you will be sent a link to complete Hockey University Officiating 1/2.
- After completion of Hockey University, you will register for the Level 1 re-cert course (if under 16 years of age) or the Level 2 re-cert course if 16 years of age or older. You will need to complete the course and pass the online exam.
- Your local Minor Hockey Association Referee in Chief will schedule a meeting and ice session to go over how the association operates and highlight important information for the upcoming season.
