113 players from the 64 teams competing for the 2024 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship will be playing in the NECBL this summer season, bringing both talent and expertise that is sure to elevate the competition across the league’s divisions.

With significant contributions from various conferences and teams, fans can anticipate a summer of high-caliber baseball. From the Atlantic Coast Conference, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Wake Forest and Virginia will have several of their players joining the New England competition this summer. The Southeastern Conference powerhouses Mississippi State and Vanderbilt will each have six players contributing to the league as well, joined by several of their fellow SEC contenders.

But that's just the beginning. The Big East Conference is also sending a surge of talent our way, featuring seven players from St. John’s University and eight from UConn. These players are ready to make a significant impact and take the competition to new heights.

From the ASUN Conference, Stetson University is making a strong appearance with nine players heading to New England. These athletes will be distributed among the North Shore Navigators, Martha’s Vineyard Sharks, Mystic Schooners, Danbury Westerners and Ocean State Waves

Representing the America East Conference, Bryant College is bringing a wave of talent to New England this season. The Ocean State Waves will welcome three of these talents, while the Bristol Blues will also add three to their roster, and the North Shore Navigators will gain one.

With five players joining the NECBL, the Big Ten's Indiana University is also contributing to the excitement.

Additionally, the Sanford Mainers await three players competing in the Division II Championship bracket games at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in North Carolina. All three players hailing from Southern New Hampshire University will head to Maine for the summer to join the Mainers in the NECBL's North Division once the Penmen conclude their stint in the tournament.

The 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship is also down to eight teams who are playing in Eastlake, Ohio this weekend. Once their time in the tournament comes to an end, Endicott College will send two of their players to New England. The NECBL is also excited to welcome five players from Salve Regina, distributed amongst the Valley Blue Sox (two), Vermont Mountaineers (two), and Mystic Schooners (one)

Good luck to all 123 players – we can’t wait to see you in action this summer!
