2020-2021 Kenora Thistles AAA Coaching Applications
The Thistle Hockey Council is looking for a community minded Head Coach and staff for the upcoming Kenora AAA U18 Thistles season. Recognizing the challenges in rebuilding a competitive team after a difficult season, success will be measured by the growth of the athletes as players, teammates and contributing members of the community.
The AAA U18 Program has long been embraced by Kenora with dedicated community support from fans and businesses. They have rostered an impressed Alumni, celebrated winning seasons and persevered through the more challenging ones; all the while being the heart beat of the Kenora Recreation Center and the idols of young players hoping to one day play as a AAA U18 Thistle.
Required Coaching Qualifications:
- HP1 Head Coach
- Development 1 Assistant Coaches
- Respect in Sport Activity Leader
- Gender Identity & Expression Course
- Criminal Record Check
- At a minimum, please include Head Coach and at least 1 Assistant Coach with application
