U13 and U15 Ontario Championships Cancelled for 2021
Due to the ongoing evolution of the COVID-19 virus within the province, Hockey Northwestern Ontario, Hockey Eastern Ontario, and the Ontario Hockey Federation have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 U13 AAA and U15 AAA Ontario Championships.
An event of this nature cannot be delivered in compliance with the current laws within the province of Ontario; Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to Covid-19) ACT, 2020 – Ontario Regulation 364/20.
The 2020 U13 and U15 Ontario Championships had been cancelled earlier this year, following the cancellation of the 2019-20 hockey season.
HNO along with HEO and OHF will work together to identify viable solutions pertaining to host rotation for future years when the delivery of such events can follow relevant Ontario Laws.
