LIC-ICE is very excited to offer our LIC-ICE ISLANDERS MITES TRAVEL PROGRAM for the upcoming 2024-2025 hockey season.
This program is your NEXT STEP for our LEARN TO PLAY & SKATE TO PLAY HOCKEY PLAYERS.
The goal of our Mite Development program is to provide skill-based practices that help our players progress and develop into travel hockey.
Program will be run by our most experience Coaches: Jimmy Iucci (Head Coach), Trainer: Eugene (Off -Ice) and Juliette
- 12 PLAYERS PER TEAM
- 2 ON ICE, 2 OFF ICE PRACTICES PER WEEK (47 practices altogether)
- SKILL PRACTICES THROUGHOUT SEASON
- SUNDAY MORNING CROSS/ICE GAMES AT CITY ICE PAVILION (22 games altogether) 7-8:20 AM
- NO PRACTICES & GAMES Nov. 27, 29, Dec. 25, 27, 30, Jan. 1, 3, Feb. 14, 17, 19, 21
- Introduction to the concepts of cooperation, fair play, sportsmanship and travel hockey
- Warm Up & Jersey, Socks
- Season End Ceremony and trophies
- All players must be registered with USA HOCKEY 2025/2026
