Brightspeed Ice Park is home to the Missouri State University Ice Bears. The multi-million dollar facility opened in 2001 and is considered one of the best facilities in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Ice Park houses two sheets of ice to accommodate both the Ice Bear’s Division I and Division III teams. The roughly 1,100 seat arena also contains both team’s locker rooms, a conference room for all Ice Bear team and staff meetings, as well as a video center to watch game tape.
The Box Office is located in the Pro Shop and Ice Bear game-day tickets are available at 5:30 p.m. the day of each game.
The Ice Park is located within walking distance of the Missouri State campus, just a few blocks north near the heart of downtown, Springfield.
