Love hockey? Want to get up close to the action? The Missouri State Ice Bears are looking for interns.
Internships are available in the scoring box, merchandise, social media, Public Relations, and in broadcasting. Internships are non-paid. We do work with MSU or other colleges for intern credit.
Box positions include:
Scoresheet: keeping track of penalties, goals, etc. on a game sheet
Clock: keeping time, score, and penalties on the display clock
Audio: playing the audio during the game and helping the PA announcer with keeping track of ads
Computer scoring: run LIVE computerized scoring during games on HockeyTech software.
Penalty box doors: opening and closing doors for players during penalties.

Merchandise: put up, run, and tear down and staff the merchandise table.

Broadcasting: help Steve Casson with running the camera during broadcasts of the D1 and D3 games along with other broadcasting needs. Learn broadcast graphics system.
Social Media: Public Relations, posting sponsor ads and other media on Facebook throughout game weeks.
