The NIHF is a league designed to attract teams from Mite to Midget in the USA and Canada with the intention of providing Hockey Games for all AAU teams in the USA and Canada through Showcases and Tournaments.
The NIHF teams will play under the sanctioning of the AAU with divisions as shown below:

2009 and younger Canada Novice - USA Mite

2007/08 - Canada Atom - USA Squirt

2005/06 - Peewee

2003/04 - Bantam - Non-Checking (Through the ORHL) and Checking Divisions

Teams must be members of the NIHF.
