Nick is beginning his 16th season as the Ice Hawks’ head coach and his 19th year of coaching at the junior level. He has led the Ice Hawks to 6 MJHL and 7 Bush Cup Championships and 9 successive National Tournament Appearances. He has 550+ wins as a Junior Hockey Head Coach. He holds a Level 4 Coaching Certificate with USA Hockey. Nick began his junior coaching career as an Ice Hawk assistant in 1997. He previously served as head coach of the Las Vegas Flames (Midget) and as the arena supervisor at the Santa Fe Ice Arena, Las Vegas, NV. Nick played junior hockey in the Western States Hockey League, the Minnesota Junior Hockey League and had a brief stint with the semi-pro Las Vegas Aces. Nick is a full time coach and spends off seasons recruiting and advising his players. Nick is committed to player development and takes great pride in preparing players for college hockey.  Nick lives in Rochester with his daughter Colette (13) and sons Alex (11) and Evan (7).

Eric Hofmann

Eric is returning as an Assistant Coach for his 3rd consecutive year.  He previously served with the Ice Hawks in the 2009-2010 season.  His current duties include covering practice, bench coach, managing our scouting network and player advancement.   Eric is a USAH level 4 Hockey Coach: Also, he currently serves as the ‘Director of Hockey’ for the Dodge County Youth Hockey association in Kasson, MN.   In addition to his hockey coaching duties, Eric is the owner/operator of Performance Training which offers sport-specific training and development focused specifically on, Hockey.  He also manages an fitness/hockey blog at www.gopt1.com.  Eric lives in the South-East, MN area with his wife Lindsey.

Corey Dubois

Asst. Coach / Assistant to the General Manager

Corey is in the 12th year as an Assistant Coach with the Ice Hawks.  He coached with the Ice Hawks in LeSueur and then again, later after their move to Rochester. He has previously coached at the youth, high school as well as the junior levels.  Corey played High School hockey in Red Wing, MN, helping the Wingers to 2 straight State Tournament appearances. He played 2 seasons with the Ice Hawks where he served as a team captain.  Corey lives in Rochester with his wife Mandy, and children Ethan. Nolan and Colin.

Vinnie Susi

Vinnie is a former Ice Hawks captain and one of our most popular players.  Injuries curtailed his college hockey career.  He has returned to Rochester to serve as an Assistant Coach while attending Rochester Technical/Community College. Vinnie is begining his second season behind the bench with the 2016-17 season  The Ice Hawks are pleased to havet Vinnie launch his coaching career with the Ice Hawks while at the same time pursuing his college degree.

Justin Bowder

Equipment Manager / Asst Coach

Justin has served with the Ice Hawks in a variety of capacities since 1999.  He is currently responsible for handling all equipment and preparing the players to participate in games. Justin has been in involved in hockey as long as he can remember. His family roots are in the hockey hotbed of Northern Minnesota's Iron Range.  He was raised in Mankato, MN where he played in the Mankato Youth Hockey Association.   He and Coach Nick have been close friends for over 25 years and played together for a few seasons of youth hockey.  Away from the rink, Justin is a resident of Rochester where he is employed by Rochester Toyota.Ford Collision.
