A1 Solar Signings
NEWPORT, R.I. — The Gulls are thrilled to announce the signings of Bryant senior pitcher Kyle Rizy and Oklahoma freshman infielder Kyle Branch, powered by A1 Roofing’s Solar Division.
Rizy returns to the mound for Bryant following Tommy John Surgery. Hailing from Fiskdale, Massachusetts, the RHP enters his first season with the Gulls.
Through 15 innings with the Bulldogs, Rizy has maintained a 4.80 ERA with 20 punchouts, allowing 12 hits and nine runs.
Branch has had a breakout rookie season with the Sooners. Hitting .340 at the start of April, the Lucas, Texas native is lighting up the Big 12 with 33 hits, 19 RBIs and eight doubles.
