In 2001, our current Board of Directors had a vision to bring a summer collegiate baseball team (formerly RI Gulls of Cranston, RI) to Newport. As Aquidneck Island residents and former baseball players & coaches...this vision included not only a high level of baseball to one of the country's most historic ballparks, but a brand of family entertainment and community involvement that would rival other organizations throughout the country.
Now in our 23rd season in Newport, our slogan of "Raising the Bar in Summer Collegiate Baseball" has certainly come to fruition...holding records in the New England Collegiate Baseball League for Championships, Division Titles, Attendance and an environment for players an fans alike that have electrified Cardines Field during the summer months.
