Team Pennsylvania Hosts Detroit as Final Preparation for Brick Tournament
With the Brick Tournament less than a weeks away and Team Pennsylvania is continuing their preparation for the big event. This past weekend, Team PA played host to the Detroit Red Wings Brick team at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Center for a series of competitive games as both teams gear up for the competition in Edmonton.
The opening game of the series was a high-scoring affair and Team PA took the victory by a score of 9-6. In the second matchup, Detroit fought hard and came from behind to force overtime and took the scored the game winner in the extra frame for a 5-4 win. In the third and final game, Team Pennsylvania emerged victorious with by a score of 4-3 which meant that they won the series 2 games to 1.
Team Pennsylvania will depart for Edmonton on Friday, the 28th and will play their first game on Monday, June 1st against Team Brick Alberta. See below for Team Pennsylvania’s full schedule of games in an action packed week in Edmonton.
