Team Pennsylvania Finishes BRICK Tournament with Double Header
The final day of action for Team Pennsylvania at the 2024 BRICK Tournament was a challenge: their first doubleheader of the competition. The competition didn't make the prospect any less daunting. The Boston Jr. Bruins and Toronto Pro Hockey were the opponents for the day and while Team PA put up a fight once again, they weren't able to get that elusive first victory.
"This event can be extremely humbling for even the top players at their age group," said coach Edwards after the day's action.
"While we were not able to turn our efforts into wins at the event, I was extremely proud of the resilience the team showed throughout the spring. I'd like to thank my assistant coaches and manager for all this hard work as well."
While the results on the scoresheet were disappointing, the opportunity to play in the BRICK Tournament is not lost on the team. Even in defeat, Team PA showed resilience, grit, effort and joy on the ice each game. This year's team reminded us all to win with humility, lose with grace and do both with dignity. The future is bright for the members of this team!
