Newport Gulls T-Shirt Fundraiser
Proceeds to Benefit Newport Hospital Emergency Preparedness Fund
NEWPORT, RI-Since 2001, the Newport Gulls have embodied the motto “Raise the Bar” on and off the field. It has been the organization’s mission to provide affordable family-friendly entertainment and high-quality baseball but above all else; to benefit the community of Newport County and its surrounding areas.
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected individuals worldwide, including those of the Newport Gulls Community. The pandemic has resulted in a total disruption of everyday life. It has caused a tremendous amount of hardships including those physically, emotionally, and financially. However, we will get through this together.
Although the best way to beat this virus is to remain isolated from others by practicing social distancing guidelines, the Newport Gulls ask everyone to band together in an effort to help all those suffering by supporting the heroic medical professionals fighting the virus on the frontlines. In partnership with Coast to Coast Promotions (Warwick, RI), the Newport Gulls have created the “All in this Together” T-Shirt to benefit the Newport Hospital Emergency Preparedness Fund.
The Newport Hospital Emergency Preparedness Fund helps ensure that Newport Hospital’s doctors, nurses, medical and front-line staff, can meet the health care needs of all those served during the nation’s most serious health crisis.

The Newport Gulls, members of the 13-team New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded as the Rhode Island Gulls in 1998 in Cranston, R.I., before moving to Newport in 2001. In addition to recruiting, fielding, and developing a team of the nation’s top collegiate baseball athletes and attracting 50,000 fans annually to Cardines Field, the predominantly volunteer organization strives to benefit the community of Newport County via summer camps, reading programs, fundraisers, scholarships, and charitable donations – totaling over $1 million since 2001.
