Players in Glace Bay Minor Hockey hit the ice for the first time this weekend at the new Miners Forum.

Tots group three kicked things off at 8am Saturday morning.

It’s been more than three years since players from the Glace Bay Minor Hockey Association called the former Bayplex home.

U13 (PeeWee AAA) played an exhibition game against County Islanders Saturday afternoon.

Fans should be treated to some great hockey through the season in a first class facility.

The rep game schedule at the forum is as follows:

U11 (ATOM A) Can been seen most Monday night’s at 6pm, followed by U15 (BANTAM AA) at 7:20pm.

On Tuesday’s U11 (ATOM AA) hits the ice at 6:20pm followed by U13 (PEEWEE A) at 7:20pm.

Friday’s will see U18 (Midget AA) games played at 7:20pm.
