Brad came to the Adanacs last summer via a trade with Burnaby. He was born and raised in Burnaby. He says, “I started playing lacrosse when I was six, when my parents signed me up.”
The number one highlight of his minor lacrosse career was winning a gold medal in the PeeWee B Provincials. He played Junior A with the Coquitlam Adanacs including in the Minto Cup in 2015. In nine WLA games with the Nanaimo Timbermen in 2017 Brad was an intense, focused defenseman, neutralizing his opponent or forcing his opponent to cough up the ball and passing it on to start the transition. He didn’t score goals or assists and was only charged with 8 PiM. With Burnaby last summer, before the trade, he played eight games, with 21 PiM, and in 9 games with the Adanacs he earned one assist and was given 20 PiM. Brad is a plumber and aspires to a career a firefighter. His favourite movie is the hilarious “Semi-Pro”. His favourite band is Nickleback. He says, “My girlfriend Tara Nordin is a peach, and she loves tacos!” As for the person most important in his lacrosse career so far, he says, “Pat Coyle – the best coach, and inspiration.”
