PLAYER PROFILE

Born: March 15, 1995          Height: 6' - 1"          Weight:  200 lbs.          Shoots:  Right

The Adanacs were ecstatic to make a trade this spring to welcome Keegan back home this summer.  He was born at the Burnaby General Hospital and raised in Coquitlam.  He now lives in (S)Kitsilano with the rest of the Beautiful People.  He first played lacrosse at age 4 for the Coquitlam Adanacs the fabled Smith & Mundy Box, inspired to do so by former Adanac Captain and WLA All-Star Bruce Murray (a behemoth, albeit a gentle one OFF the floor) because of “the physicality of the game”, not so much by Bruce’s goal-scoring sprees we think.  He played all his minor lacrosse in Coquitlam, from mini-tyke through Midget, helping lead his teammates to win medals and championships virtually every year.  As a rugged, athletic, gritty and skilled defenseman for the Junior “A” Adanacs Keegan’s Junior A stats in 55 regular season and 35 playoff games included 11 goals and 0 assists for 21 points plus 90 PiM – don’t take him lightly.  Keegan played in four Minto Cups with the Junior Adanacs including their legendary win in 2016.  Treat yourselves to this video of the Junior Adanacs’ thrilling victory in the fifth and final game of the 2016 Minto Cup, in which Keegan was a rock on defense, earning the right to hoist the Cup along with current Senior Adanac teammates Christian del Bianco, Brad Kujala, John Hofseth, thanks of course to many absolutely critical, actually impossible, saves by del Bianco (who almost scored on the Orangeville empty net) followed by the winning goal and the bedlam that ensued at the LEC:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdyxXAAtHbs and this report of that game:  http://www.independentsportsnews.com/2016/08/30/del-biancos-mvp-performance-helps-coquitlam-capture-2016-minto-cup-memorable-overtime-win/  Keegan’s heroism extends far beyond the lacrosse arena, as he is a full-time Firefighter for the Delta Fire Department & Part-time Paramedic for British Columbia Ambulance Service.  He says, “I like everything outdoors – hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, snowboarding, wakeboarding and catching rays at the beach.  Any movie is good – I’ll probably fall asleep after 5 minutes into it anyways.  Good music is good music, anything goes.  A good candidate to assume the moniker by which former Adanac star Ryan Johnson was glad to be known – that is, “Hollywood” - Keegan and his girlfriend Paige Shaw have been a handsome and beautiful couple since high school
