77 - ALEX BOHL

Born: May 1, 1994            Height:  6’1”            Weight:  190            ​Shoots:  Right

Alex was born in Germany but raised in Toronto.  He first played lacrosse at age 9 in Brampton.  He says, “I was inspired to play like Brodie Merrill.”  Who could argue with that?  Alex played for the New Westminster Junior A Salmonbellies from 2013 through 2015, including as Minto Cup finalists in 2013.  His Junior A stats included 26 goals and 36 assists for 62 points with 61 PiM in 46 games.  Alex attended Robert Morris University on a lacrosse scholly and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.  He made the Dean’s List as a freshman and, as a result, was accepted into the Organizational Leadership program, earning a Master’s in that field.  According to the university website, “Bohl has grown tremendously throughout his career as a Colonial.  His maturity and work ethic are very apparent in both his play on the field and his work in the classroom and the community.  He is a proven leader in community service efforts, and his dedication to his academics is evident.”  Alex was a head coach for the U13 Pine Richland Lacrosse team in 2016, a head coach for the U13 Moon Township lacrosse team and a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Robert Morris.  He currently works as a sales merchandiser for Mondelez International.  Sadly, he didn’t mention his other sports and recreational interests, or name the people most influential in his lacrosse career so far.  Perhaps for his player profile next summer.o his
